Prospective applicants must have a Master&rsquo;s degree (MQF Level 7) accepted by MSU Senate&nbsp;OR&nbsp;other qualifications accepted by MSU Senate as equivalent to a Master&rsquo;s degree (MQF Level 7).&nbsp; Note that there is no direct entry from Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (MQF Level 6) to Doctoral degree (MQF Level 8) programmes. In driving and transforming MSU towards excellence, financial assistance has been provided to outstanding or underprivileged students, inclusive of those from lower middle-income nations, to acquire quality education. The funds are distributed through various means including collaborative efforts between MSU and several public and private institutional partners. Besides tuition fees assistance is also provided for meals, housing, transportation and educational resources subject to applicants socio-economic background. All scholarships, sponsorship and financial aid are either offered through the MSU Foundation (Yayasan MSU) or MSU through the following scheme:
1. Presidents Scholarship
