MAHSA’s Master in Science Public Health postgraduate qualification provides quality education, research, service, and leadership to improve public health and eliminate health disparities, through a unique partnership between the University and the Ministry of Health Malaysia. During their 2-year programme, students will get acquainted and familiar with subjects such as occupational and environmental health, occupational health and safety management, health systems and policies, human nutrition, epidemiology, disaster management, global disease management, global disaster management and humanitarian relief, human health risk and environmental safety, public health policy and leadership, social behaviour and management, population management, health education, and family and reproductive health. Graduates of MAHSA University’s Master of Science in Public Health will have acquired mastery of a diversity of subjects to make them leaders in the advocacy of good health through the advancement of education, research and the practice of healthy lifestyle habits. They will also be able to give pre-emptive advice on the prevention of illness and disease, complementing doctors and medical services, who diagnose and treat these.
