<p><strong>Diploma in Nursing - Minimum Entry Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>For Malaysian Candidates:</strong></p><ul><li>Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with five (5) credits:<ul><li>Mandatory credit in:<ul><li>Bahasa Melayu</li><li>Mathematics (Elementary, Additional, or Modern)</li></ul></li><li>AND</li><li>Either one (1) of the credits below:<ul><li>Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science</li></ul></li><li>AND</li><li>Credit in two (2) other subjects.</li><li>AND</li><li>Pass in English.</li></ul></li><li>OR</li><li>Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).</li><li>Possess Assistant Nurse Certificate/Community Nurse Certificate.</li><li>Registered with the MNB (Malaysian Nursing Board).</li><li>Possess current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for nurses from MNB.</li><li>Minimum three (3) years of clinical working experience.</li></ul><p><strong>For International Candidates:</strong></p><ul><li>Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with five (5) subjects (minimum Grade C):<ul><li>Credit in Mathematics (Elementary, Additional, or Modern).</li><li>AND</li><li>Either one (1) of the credits below:<ul><li>Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science</li></ul></li><li>AND</li><li>Credit in three (3) other subjects</li></ul></li><li>OR</li><li>A pass in one of the following English Language Proficiency Tests:<ul><li>IELTS: Overall Band Score of minimum 5.5</li><li>TOEFL:<ul><li>Paper-Based Test (PBT): Minimum score of 515</li><li>Computer-Based Test (CBT): Minimum score of 215</li><li>Internet-Based Test (IBT): Minimum score of 80</li></ul></li><li>Cambridge Advanced English (CAE)</li><li>Cambridge Proficiency English (CPE)</li><li>Pearson Test of English (PTE)</li></ul></li></ul><p>*Equivalent - refers to overseas academic qualifications equivalent to SPM as approved by MQA (Malaysian Qualifications Agency).</p><p><strong>Health Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>All students must be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner within one month from the commencement of the nursing program.</li><li>Students must not have any physical disabilities or impaired senses that hinder nursing dexterity.</li><li>Students with medical conditions such as HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Epilepsy, mental health disorders, and color blindness cannot be admitted into the program.</li></ul>
