<p>The Master of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Program is the first medical specialist training programme at KPJUC. It provides candidates with the opportunity to be trained in the management and treatment of a wide variety of ENT diseases in 6 accredited KPJ Specialist hospitals. This 4-year programme follows the UKM/UM/USM conjoint curriculum. The programme provides an innovative competency-based education programme featuring one-to-one, hands-on apprenticeship, supervised by a group of dedicated and experienced KPJ ENT consultants. The Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is our collaborator in the curriculum design and assessment to ensure a high quality training programme.</p>

<p>Malaysian Student</p><p><strong>University College / Conjoint Board of ENT Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Possess a Medical Degree (MD, MBBS and MBChB) or equivalent qualifications from Universities recognized by the Senate of the University College; and</li><li>Must be registered for medical practice by Malaysian Medical Council (MMC); and</li><li>At least 2 years of clinical practice (excluding housemanship); and</li><li>Pass the written screening examination; and</li><li>Performance at interview</li></ul><p><strong>Ministry of Health Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Possess a Medical Degree (MD, MBBS and MBChB) or equivalent qualifications from Universities recognized by the Senate of the University College; and</li><li>Must be registered for medical practice by Malaysian Medical Council (MMC); and</li><li>4 years of service with experience outside Kuala Lumpur and major hospital; and</li><li>Annual appraisal scores of &gt; 85% for 3 consecutive years; and</li><li>Age &lt; 40 years upon starting the programme; and</li><li>Free disciplinary actions; and</li><li>No record of rejecting the offer to enroll in the programme previously.</li></ul><p><strong>International Student</strong></p><ul><li>International candidates must have a valid Annual Practicing Certificate from the country of origin and a Temporary Practicing Certificate (TPC) from Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)</li><li>Proficient in the English Language: TOEFL score of 750 or IELTS grade 7 or an equivalent International English Competency test</li><li>Financial guarantee od scholarship</li><li>At least 2 years of working experience after internship at the time of entry into the programme</li></ul>

Master of Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery

Foundation is a pre-university course offered to the students prior to their university degree education. The Foundation Course can be taken up by students internally at any local university as well as in partnership with the partnering overseas universities. The Foundation Course is usually of one year duration and includes all the key concepts that a student would be going through in brief during their graduation or bachelor degree program. 
The minimum eligibility for enrolling in a Foundation Program will be SPM from any recognized private or government school in Malaysia.
