Medical images of the human body are produced, to aid diagnosis and treatment planning. Diagnostic radiographers are important players of the healthcare team, to deliver a sensitive and patient-centred service using these specialised equipment. A more specialised radiographers may work in different modalities such as fluoroscopy, mammography, nuclear medicine and interventional radiology. The prospect of medical imaging not only revolves in the clinical area, but expands to research, administration and education.

Bachelor of Medical Imaging (Hons) is a four-year program that prepares the graduate to be a professionally competent diagnostic radiographer.
