The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Chartered Accountant qualification is one of the most advanced learning and professional development programmes available. It is valued around the world in business, practice and the public sector. Founded in 1880 and support more than 150,000 ICAEW Chartered Accountants in 155 countries around the world (UK, Beijing, Brussels, Dubai, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Singapore).

To get ICAEW qualification, there are a variety of routes open to students in Malaysia to qualify as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, including:

• School leavers studying the ICAEW CFAB full time before progressing to ACA.
• University graduates studying the ACA, before securing work experience with an ICAEW authorised training employer.
• Studying the ACA while gaining work experience with an ICAEW authorised training employer during a training agreement

To qualify as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant you must complete the ACA, a highly-respected professional qualification that requires students to complete at least three years on-the-job training while passing a series of exams. You can start your training by completing ICAEW's Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (ICAEW CFAB), which is made up of the first six modules of the ACA, before going on to complete the rest of the qualification.
