<li>The College has been developed as the key provider of business and management training and education program in Miri, Sarawak. The College was established in 1992, originally as a professional training and development center and received the approval from the MOHE in 1998.</li>
<li>All the programs offer by the College is fully accredited under the criteria set under the Malaysian Quality framework (MQF) since 2006. IBS has also been approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Internal Affair to recruit foreign students since 2008.</li>
