<p>This programme aims to develop the knowledge and skills of a bachelor level graduate, with mechanical engineering degree to master's level, through advanced teaching, design work and research. It also provides an opportunity for candidates from a different engineering background to develop key mechanical engineering knowledge and skills required for their professional development. A key objective of the programme is to be an accredited route to becoming a chartered engineer.</p>
<p>This programme makes use of master's level courses in the Energy Sciences and Manufacture and Design field, complemented with specialist courses from relevant MSc courses offered by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.</p>

<p class="common-text">Applicants should have passed intermediate or PUC from Mathematics, Physics &amp; Chemistry from any recognized board of Malaysia to get enrolled under the bachelor level of courses in engineering such as, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.). The eligibility for enrolling under master level programs of engineering is BE/ B.Tech passed from any recognized colleges or universities in Malaysia.</p>
