The MDM is designed for students who have gained a considerable degree of subject knowledge and proficiency from undergraduate studies, experience of the workplace, or both. As stated above, our intention is to provide a challenging and rewarding programme of post-experience design management development. We do this by using an approach to study which is essentially one of critique and evaluation; using the results of current and recent research and case studies to analyse, evaluate and appraise established methods, practices or techniques. It is student-centred, and makes good use of the students’ prior knowledge and experience.
