Master&rsquo;s Degree (Level 7, Malaysian Qualifications Framework-MQF) in the Engineering or related fileds accepted bty the Higher Education Provider (HEP) Senate</p><p><strong>OR</strong></p><p>ii. Other qualifications equivalent to a Master&rsquo;s degree (MQF Level 7) recognized by Goverment of Malaysia</p><p>iii. Candidates without a related qualification in the field/s or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP</p><p>iv. A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (Level 6, MQF) with the following conditions:</p><ul><li>A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Engineering or related fields with first &ndash; class [Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.67 or higher] or its equivalent from an academic or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme</li><li>Undergo internal assessment; and</li><li>Any other requirements of the HEP</li></ul><p>v. Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (Level 6, MQF) candidates who are registered for Master&rsquo;s Degree (Level 7, MQF) programmes may apply to convert to the Doctoral Degree (Level 8, MQF) programmes subjected to the following condition:</p><ul><li>Within one year for full time and within two years for part-time candidates;</li><li>Having shown competency and capability in conducting research at doctoral level through rigorous internal evaluation by the HEP; and</li><li>Approval by the HEP Senate</li></ul><p>For International Students, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 500 OR International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or its equivalent.</p><p>If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student&rsquo;s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme. This is normally conducted through an assessment.</p>

<p class="common-text">Applicants should have passed intermediate or PUC from Mathematics, Physics &amp; Chemistry from any recognized board of Malaysia to get enrolled under the bachelor level of courses in engineering such as, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.).
