Strong Mathematics would be an added advantage.</p><h4 data-start="505" data-end="523"><strong data-start="510" data-end="521">A-Level</strong></h4><p data-start="524" data-end="609">2 Passes in A-Level and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or equivalent.</p><p data-start="611" data-end="840"><strong data-start="611" data-end="620">Note:</strong> Candidates who have obtained a Pass in Mathematics but do not have a Credit Pass in Mathematics at SPM/IGCSE or equivalent need to take a <strong data-start="759" data-end="788">Pre-Requisite Mathematics</strong> module prior to or at the beginning of the study.</p><p data-start="842" data-end="920"><em data-start="842" data-end="918">Overseas qualifications equivalent to 12th Grade/A Level/HSC are accepted.</em></p><h4 data-start="922" data-end="936"><strong data-start="927" data-end="934">UEC</strong></h4><p data-start="937" data-end="1002">5 Grade B Passes in UEC in any subjects, including Mathematics.</p><p data-start="1004" data-end="1233"><strong data-start="1004" data-end="1013">Note:</strong> Candidates who have obtained a Pass in Mathematics but do not have a Credit Pass in Mathematics at SPM/IGCSE or equivalent need to take a <strong data-start="1152" data-end="1181">Pre-Requisite Mathematics</strong> module prior to or at the beginning of the study.</p><h4 data-start="1235" data-end="1270"><strong data-start="1240" data-end="1268">Matriculation/Foundation</strong></h4><p data-start="1271" data-end="1413">A pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/IGCSE/O-Level or its equivalent.</p><p data-start="1415" data-end="1644"><strong data-start="1415" data-end="1424">Note:</strong> Candidates who have obtained a Pass in Mathematics but do not have a Credit Pass in Mathematics at SPM/IGCSE or equivalent need to take a <strong data-start="1563" data-end="1592">Pre-Requisite Mathematics</strong> module prior to or at the beginning of the study.</p><h4 data-start="1646" data-end="1671"><strong data-start="1651" data-end="1669">Other Diplomas</strong></h4><p data-start="1672" data-end="1875">Diploma in Science, Technology, or Business studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/IGCSE or its equivalent. Admission is subject to rigorous assessment conducted by APU.</p><p data-start="1877" data-end="2012"><strong data-start="1877" data-end="1886">Note:</strong> Credit transfer of modules into a <strong data-start="1921" data-end="1942">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree</strong> may apply based on the fulfillment of credit transfer requirements.</p><hr data-start="2014" data-end="2017" /><h4 data-start="2019" data-end="2066"><strong data-start="2023" data-end="2064">Direct Entry to Level 2 of the Degree</strong></h4><h4 data-start="2068" data-end="2099"><strong data-start="2073" data-end="2097">ICT Related Diplomas</strong></h4><p data-start="2100" data-end="2266">A Diploma in IT &amp; Computing related areas with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Fulfillment of credit transfer requirements is subject to approval by the APU Academic Board.</p><p data-start="2268" data-end="2429"><strong data-start="2268" data-end="2277">Note:</strong> Students with a CGPA above 2.0 but below 2.5 may be accepted upon rigorous assessment conducted by APU and subject to approval by the Academic Board.</p>

<p class="common-text">The minimum eligibility for getting short listed in the courses available under Computer &amp; Information Technology in various institutes of Malaysia are &ndash;under graduation passed with Computer &amp; Mathematics for graduate level programs (Bachelor of Computer Applications) and BCA or any other similar graduate degree in Computer Sciences for getting admitted under the master level courses available in the stream of Computer &amp; Information Technology.</p>

Generally, a bachelor degree takes three years for completion and it&rsquo;s available in almost any discipline that one wishes to study. Those students who take Mathematics &amp; Science in their PUC or Intermediate can enroll themselves in a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) course.
