<p>The Master of Science (Pharmacy) programme in AIMST University is tailored to fortify students in order to enhance their skills in research, bio-statistics and provision of top-notch laboratory services. This program leads to specialization in various aspects of pharmaceutical research, which is an integral part of the drug discovery and drug design processes. Core subjects are the fulcrum of the programme in conjunction with the research activities. Written and oral communication skills; conducting practice-based research with a thesis are the hallmarks of this programme. In first semester the programme covers theoretical sections in the subjects of introductions (pharmacy core papers) and biostatistics. <ul><li data-pm-slice="0 0 []">A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or</li><li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or</li><li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field and rigorous internal assessment.</li><li>Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses as stated in the programme requirements and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (iii).</li></ul><p><strong>English proficiency requirements:</strong> Must obtain minimum band 4 in MUET before graduation (local applicant) Or TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS Grade 6 (international applicant).</p>
