In UCSI's Diploma in Hotel Management, students will study multi-discipline knowledge and skills required for modern management in the global hospitality industry. It covers a wide range of duties from front office and housekeeping, to Food and Beverage management, to supervision of relations between staff and guests, as well as back office administration (marketing, human resources and accounting skills).
SPM / O-Levels or its equivalent: 3 credits
UEC: 3 credits English Language Requirements:
A distinction (A1 or A2) in SPM / UEC English, MUET Band 5, or a score of 213 (Computer-based) / 550 (Written-based) / 79 - 80 (Internet-based) in TOEFL, or Band 5.5 in IELTS. If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) must be taken at UCSI. * International students holding equivalent academic qualifications but which are not conducted in English, are required to sit for the English Placement Test, which may result in the taking of the Certificate in English programme (1 to 10 months). Students who intend to pursue the above undergraduate programme directly, are advised to fulfil the above English requirements prior to commencing their studies at the University.
