The Diploma in 3D Animation Design provides students with a solid foundation in the field of 3D Animation. Designed to foster a passion of lifelong learning and to groom students to be leaders in their professional career, the programme equips learners with fundamental competencies and technical skills in 3D Animation and the relevant interdisciplinary creative industries.
SPMV/SPM/ 'O' Levels: 3 credits and Pass in English.
Sijil Kemahiran Vokasional (SKV): Pass
UEC: 3 Credits and Pass in English
Majlis Latihan Vokasional Kebangsaan (MLVK): Pass inclusive of Art & Design-related subjects** and English.
Any other qualification equivalent to the abovementioned: CGPA 2.5
Diploma/Certificate/ Equivalent: Pass
Note: **A review of the student’s Art/Design portfolio is required to assess his/her knowledge and skills for admission purposes. English Language Requirements:
A distinction (A+, A or A-) in the English Language subject at SPM/UEC level; or MUET Band 5; or a score of 196 (computer-based) / 525 (writing-based) / 69-70 (internet-based) in TOEFL; or Band 5.5 in IELTS.
In the event that the English Language Requirements are not met, student may be required to undertake additional English module(s) prior to or concurrently with the undergraduate programme, based on the University’s decision. * International students holding equivalent academic qualifications but which are not conducted in English, are required to sit for the English Placement Test, which may result in the taking of the Certificate in English programme (1 to 10 months).
