This programme enables students to be provided with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the rapidly growing arena of mobile commerce and computing, through exposure to mobile computing architecture-related modules. The curriculum consists of the latest advances in mobile applications, mobile networking technologies and standards, applicable for devices such as PDAs and Smart Mobile devices.Each semester, the core content of the syllabus is subject to 10% alteration with the purpose of incorporating new developments and changes in technology into all computing subjects. The 3-year programme aims to provide in-depth understanding on the principles of networked systems, and key operational and technical aspects that are necessary for current applications, thus enabling students to absorb the fundamental concepts of computing and borderless computer systems. Students of this programme should aim to master the relevant industry skills such as analysis and design, programming, software building and maintenance of new developments.
UCSI Foundation: Pass
STPM: 2 principals (inclusive of a Mathematics subject)
A-Level: 2 principals (inclusive of a Mathematics subject)
UEC: 5 credits (including mathematics)
CPU: Average of 60% in 6 subjects (inclusive of 60% in a Mathematics subject)
National Matriculation: CGPA 2.5 (inclusive of C grade in a Mathematics subject)
International Baccalaureate: Overall score of 26/42 (inclusive of 5 out 7 score in a Mathematics subject)
Diploma / Advance Diploma / Degree / equivalent: To be assessed by faculty on case-by-case basis. Credit transfers are possible with the submission of academic transcripts and course syllabus
Other Year 12 Equivalent: Average of 60% (inclusive 60% in a Mathematics subject) English Requirements:
Minimum score of Band 5 in MUET; Band 5.5 in IELTS; or a score of 213 (Computer-based) / 550 (Written-based) / 79 - 80 (Internet-based) in TOEFL.
Students are exempted from the above English requirements if they possess any of the following examination grades in their English subjects: SPM (A+, A or A-); UEC (A1 or A2); a credit in O-Level (minimum C6); or 4 out of 7 in International Baccalaureate (IB); Qualification/Examination is of English curriculum
If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) may be taken at UCSI, concurrently with the above undergraduate programm
