The BA (Hons) English Language and Communication (ELC) programme is designed to equip students who do not speak English as a first language with excellent communication capabilities for professional employment in English as a Second Language (ESL). Students who are learning English as a second or additional (foreign) language will be able to develop graduate level communicative competence in English Language, and to use English effectively.
STPM / A-levels
Minimum 2 principals (credits are required for English at SPM / O-Level)
UEC
Minimum 5 credits including English (For English subject, a minimum of Grade B is necessary)
IB
Minimum score of 26/42 points from 6 subjects
National Matriculation
Minimum CGPA of 2.0 (credits are required for English at SPM / O-Level)
Australian Year 12
Pass with minimum mark of 60%, or minimum ATAR score of 65
Canadian Pre-U
Minimum average of 60% in 6 subjects
Other qualifications deemed equivalent to STPM / A-Level by Malaysian Qualifications Agency
Minimum overall average of 60%
Diploma in Psychology
Completed (minimum CGPA 2.0/4.0)
UCSI Foundation in Arts
