COURSE OVERVIEW

The objectives of the programme are to:

i. Produce graduates with advanced knowledge, practical skills and strong analytical skills in business through research.

ii. Produce graduates that possess skills and interpersonal & communication skills which are necessary to perform respective managerial roles and enhance the organization's operation in today's complex business environment.

iii. Produce graduates that possess digital and numeracy skills and strategic leadership skills in compliance with legal and ethical requirements inherent in at strategic levels in business organizations.

iv. Provide graduates with an educational experience that develops their personal and entrepreneurial skills, professionalism with ethical values that will prepare them for the business environment.

Undergraduate studies

A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.75 can be accepted, subject to rigorous internal assessment; OR
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment; OR
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the HEP Senate, subject to having relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment; OR
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting 2.5 as accepted by the HEP Senate, subject to a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment; OR
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the HEP Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government

English Language Requirements

Malaysian Students

MUET Band 4.0 OR IELTS Band 6.0; OR CEFR Mid B2 or TOEFL iBT 60 or equivalent
Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English

International Students

IELTS Band 6.0; OR CEFR Mid B2, TOEFL iBT 60 or equivalent
Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
