COURSE OVERVIEW

The study of life science lends important insights into disease processes, and allows the development of novel therapeutics and innovative medical devices, thereby directly improving human health. The life science also enables an understanding of the environment and the other living species with whom we share the earth, this knowledge guides conservation efforts and literally helps us to save our shared planet.

Bachelor's Degree

  • A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent grade which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate; OR
  • A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) not meeting CGPA of 2.75 but above 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate; OR
  • A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) with CGPA lower than 2.50 with 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of study which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate.

English Language Requirement

Malaysian Students:
  • MUET Band 3.5 or IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR Mid B2 or TOEFL iBT 60 equivalent; OR Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English.
International Students:
  • IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 42 or equivalent OR
  • Exemption of English Language requirement if first language is English or the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English.
