COURSE OVERVIEW

The study of science allows us to understand better the history of the natural world and how the natural world is working, with observable physical evidence as to the basis of that understanding. It is done through observation of natural phenomena and through experimentation that tries to simulate the natural processes under controlled conditions. The applied science will then apply these scientific pieces of knowledge to develop practical applications for the advancement of humanity, such as new technologies or inventions.

Bachelor's Degree

A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent grade which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate; OR
A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) not meeting CGPA of 2.75 but above 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate; OR
A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) with CGPA lower than 2.50 with 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of study which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate.

English Language Requirement

Malaysian Students:

MUET Band 3.5 or IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR Mid B2 OR TOEFL iBT 60 equivalent; OR Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English.

International Students:

IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 42 or equiv.; OR
Exemption of English Language requirement if first language is English or the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English.
