COURSE OVERVIEW

A Master's degree in engineering provides graduates with advanced analytical skills and technology literacy to conduct research through the pursuit of specialized study in either Materials, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Telecommunication, and Electrical & Electronics engineering. Graduates develop an objective approach to problem identification and solution with real-world problems while communicating their findings to the scientific community as well as industrial professionals

Bachelor's Degree

A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) in the area of Engineering/ Engineering Technology with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent grade which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate or other recognized university as approved by the Senate; OR

A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) in the area of Engineering/ Engineering Technology not meeting CGPA of 2.75 but above 2.50, can be accepted, subject to rigorous internal assessment which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate; OR

A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) in the area of Engineering/ Engineering Technology with CGPA lower than 2.50 with 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of study which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate.

English Language Requirement

Malaysian Students: MUET Band 4 or IELTS Band 5.5 or TOEFL Score 550; OR Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
International Students: IELTS Band 5.0; OR Exemption of English Language requirement if first language is English or the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English

Note:

Degree holders of Bachelor's of Science or Technology (non-engineering or engineering technology) with CGPA above 2.5 but less than 2.75 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
