The foundation in Science programme prepares students for any science-related degree. The core science subjects will equip students with solid fundamental knowledge and skills which are essential for any undergraduate degrees in the field of Health and Science.“Learning by doing” is the philosophy embedded in this programme. Students are regularly challenged to put their knowledge to the test by completing actual projects. At the end of the programme, students will ready to take on a science-related degree and gain a host of valuable transferable skills.
1. SPM 5 credits* (including a pass in Bahasa Melayu) 5 ‘O’ Level credits. Equivalent qualification; A credit Mathematics and 2 science subjects is required for entry into the Foundation in Science. 2. Those who wish to pursue Medicine, Dentistry or pharmacy must have the entry requirement; minimum B in the following subjects: Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physic, Biology and Chemistry. Equivalent qualification. Note: Forecast result are accepted. A conditional offer will be granted if the forecast result meet the entry requirements.
5 credits in ‘O’ Level
