This programme is designed to equip students with practical skills and technical knowledge about computer communications and networks. Graduates of this programme are expected to be capable of designing and implementing computer networks.Provides training for students pursuing a career in network design and administration, software systems design and construction. Emphasis is in theoretical and practical aspects of networks including network security, as well as advanced topics such as multimedia networks, mobile computing, optical networks and ad-hoc networks.
Passed accredited Matriculation or Basic Programs with CGPA 2.0 AND MMA credit at SPM level; OR Pass the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) or equivalent with a Mathematics credits AND Pass the Malaysian High Certificate of Higher Education (STPM) with two (2) full passes or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.0; OR Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5; Candidates with CGPA of below 2.5 but above 2.0 are acceptable subject to the assessment process to be held by FKMPT OR Other Diploma with minimum CGPA of 2.5 AND Maths at SPM level
