COURSE OVERVIEW

The Diploma of Education (TESL) is a professional eligibility for graduates who want to work in an educational arena that involves English. This course is also able to meet the needs of other industries that require English in the course of daily work. This course can provide viable and professional gradations in English to meet the job market from various contexts in Malaysia, or outside the country. This program can produce competent gradations that have solid knowledge and skills in the field of teaching English as a Second Language, in addition to having pedagogical skills, ICT skills, critical and creative thinking skills (KBKK).

Entry Requirements

  • Pass Sijil Malaysian Lessons (SPM) / Sijil Malaysian Vocational Lessons (SPMV) with at least 3 credits in any subject including English; OR
  • Certificate from TAJ International College with a minimum CGPA of at least 2.00; OR
  • Certificate from Community College with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR
  • Pass Malaysian Sijil Subjects (SPM) with 1 credit in any subjects and possess at least Level 3 Sijil Malaysian Skills (SKM) in the relevant field; OR
  • Other recognized qualifications which are equivalent
