This course prepares students to be contributing professionals in the accounting and financial industry. They will also learn how to recognised qualification in Accounting and Finance; pathway to The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), CPA Australia and Chartered Secretaries Malaysia (MAICSA). Students are given opportunities to pursue their internship with international accounting firms and corporations, and upon graduation may be given employment opportunities with them. Career prospect: financial planner, tax consultant, investment banker, financial analyst, commercial banker, fund manager, financial controller, corporate treasurer, and management consultant.
Students should have STPM average B- or CGPA 2.67 (minimum three principals);
A Level CCC (minimum 18 points); Australian Matriculation ATAR 70;
Canadian Matriculation 70 per cent;
MUFY 240; Sunway Foundation in Arts 70 per cent;
UEC- maximum 22 points on five subjects (excluding Chinese and non-academic subjects) and IB - Completed with minimum 26 points (excluding bonus points).
In addition, students are required to fulfill the following English language requirements: TOEFL score of 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, 80 internet-based; IELTS score of 6.0; MUET B and 4; SPM English B3 or B+; UEC English B4; O-Level English (1119) credit;
ESL / English satisfactory level in pre-university programs, where the medium of instruction is in English;
Intensive English Program with pass level 4 with 65 per cent minimum and IB - English (Standard or Higher Level) minimum 4 points.
