The Chinese Studies Department of Southern University College is the first Chinese Studies Department from the Chinese Community-funded University in Malaysia approved the Malaysia Ministry of Education. The objective of Diploma in Chinese Studies programme is to foster the study of Chinese studies at the pre-university level. Our curriculum focuses on study the literature, history and philosophy of classical China and the discovery of the Western humanities. In addition, our department also explores Malaysian Chinese Literature and Malaysian culture as our main concern.
