The Selangor International Islamic University College is known as Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor (KUIS) in Malaysia’s national language Bahasa Malaysia. Established in 1995 as a private college, it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Selangor Islamic Religious Council. The college’s aim is to provide education that integrates knowledge with tradition. Programmes KUIS offers a myriad of programmes that include Islamic studies, Islamic banking, language and communication and nursing. The college welcomes students from all over Southeast Asia. KUIS has made great strides in research and development activities through its education network in Malaysia and overseas. The college has obtain and ISO 9001:2008 certification, which it works hard to maintain, and has also been bestowed MSC status by MSC Malaysia for its use of multimedia technologies.
