Transportation
Free shuttle bus service is available for students to commute within the campus. The UKM KTM station is located right next to the main campus and provides easy access to Kuala Lumpur. You may reach the university by using the KTM service. UKM is located 30 minutes away from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Students may apply for the UKM vehicle stickers only in their second year. First-year students are encouraged to use public transportation provided within or near the university. UKM&rsquo;s main campus is located about 30km from the centre of KL and is easily accessible via the PLUS highway. Via the highway, exit at the Bangi/UKM toll gate (Exit 212). At the first roundabout, go straight. Turn right at the second roundabout and look out for signs to UKM.
Student Parking
Parking spaces are available for university staff as well as students.
Things to Do Around the Campus
There are a few malls located near UKM, such as Bangi Gateway, IOI City Mall, Bangi Sentral and Alamanda Putrajaya. They are all located within 30 minutes drive from campus. Student discounts are also available for food purchase at Pusanika UKM, a one-stop student centre located within the campus.

There is 24/7 security throughout the campus. Security officers are on duty day and night.
