In honour of Malaysian businessman and noble philanthropist the late YBhg Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Yeoh Tiong Lay (18th December 1929 – 18th October 2017), his son and proud alumnus of Heriot-Watt, Dato’ Victor Yeoh Seok Kian, the Managing Director of YTL Corporation Berhad, gifted RM5 million to Heriot-Watt University Malaysia to widen the access to quality UK higher education for Malaysians.
The University is currently taking in applications for this scholarship worth 50% of the total undergraduate tuition fees, with limited awards available.
