Overview

This application is open to all students who are qualified, potential, interested and committed to apply for scholarships for the financing of studies at the Bachelor of Education (ISMP) level. This scholarship is dedicated to prospective teachers who achieve excellent academic performance at a Public University (UA).

Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the requirements below

Candidates must be Malaysian Citizens;

The age of the candidate does not exceed 25 years on 1 January 2022 (year of application);

Candidates have a Full Certificate of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) to qualify for appointment to the public service including honors in Malay Language and Test

Oral at SPM level or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government;

Candidates are studying in semesters 2 and 3 for 3 years of study and semesters 2 to 4 for 4 years of study at the Bachelor of Education level as in the fields below and must obtain at least a CGPA of 3.50 and above for the latest semester results;

The ISMP scholarship offer is not limited to students from the Faculty of Education, but is also open to all students from other Faculties if the degree to be obtained is by education;

Scholarships will only be offered to candidates who are pursuing studies in a major course only except for candidates who are pursuing a minor course in the field of Automotive Technology;

For English candidates, candidates must obtain a minimum qualification of Band 5 for Malaysia University English Test (MUET) test results or a minimum of Band C1 for test results referring to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) as in Appendix A;

For Early Childhood candidates, candidates must have communication skills in Arabic AND must submit relevant documents such as a copy of Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)/ Sijil Menengah Agama (SMA)/ Sijil Menengah Ugama (SMU) or any document that can support the skills language to apply;

For candidates majoring in technical and vocational, candidates can submit relevant documents such as a copy of Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) or Diploma in TVET (if any);

Only qualified and qualified candidates will be called to sit for the Teacher Candidate Qualification Test (e-UKCG) online and video evaluation of the presentation by an appointed panel;

Candidates who are successfully offered a MOE Scholarship must waive their existing sponsorship or study funding; and

Education Service Officers (PPP) are not eligible to apply.

How to apply for Scholarship Perguruan Persekutuan Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pendidikan (ISMP) Universiti Awam

1. Online application is open through the link https://epenawaran.moe.gov.my/ijazah1/login.cfm from 25 March 2022 (Friday), 5.00 pm to 22 April 2022 (Friday), 5.00 evening.

2. Applications received after the specified date will not be considered. Applicants are requested to refer to the MOE's official portal for any updates.

3. Applicants are reminded to fill out a new application (for candidates who have previously applied) read and understand the conditions and application guidelines carefully and enter accurate and valid information.

4. Errors in filling in the online application information including errors in filling in No. The Identity Card will result in the application being rejected. Applicants are advised to submit an initial application and attempt to make access to this online application at another time if the first attempt fails or is unsuccessful at that time. This is because there is a possibility of traffic congestion on the site.

5. Applications through the ePenawaran System are official and valid. Therefore, the application form and a copy of the certificate/document do NOT need to be sent in hardcopy to the Education Sponsorship Division, (BT) KPM for any other action. ORIGINAL documents must be brought during the interview if selected.

6. Applications that do not comply with the requirements/incomplete/inaccurate/do not complete the application online will be rejected.

7. Applicants are allowed to update the application three (3) times and submit ONE application during the offer period.

8. Applicants MUST download and save/print the Application Submission Confirmation Slip as proof of application and reference in the future
