Yayasan Sime Darby Undergraduate Scholarship Programme (Indonesia)

Applicants for this programme must fulfill the following requirements:

1. Malaysian;
2. Aged 25 or below;
3. STPM/Diploma (minimum CGPA of at least 3.00); 
4. Total monthly gross household income of RM10,000 and below;
5. Active participation in extra-curricular activities, sporting events and community service;
6. Strong leadership qualities through various leadership positions held in school and societies;
7. Good communication skills.

Important note: Interested candidates who are in their first year (semester 1 & semester 2) at top local universities are encouraged to apply.

Scholarships will be offered to candidates who are inclined to pursue the following fields of study, subject to the university’s admission offer:

Engineering and Sciences related courses:

1. Mechanical Engineering
2. Agriculture and Plantation related

The full scholarship includes tuition fees, a living allowance, book allowance, computer allowance, shipping allowance, and flight tickets at the beginning and end of studies.

Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to undergo a Scholars Development Programme and experience work exposure through internships at Sime Darby Companies i.e. Sime Darby Plantation Berhad, Sime Darby Property Berhad and Sime Darby Berhad.
