Monash University Malaysia offers new students applying for undergraduate degrees a scholarship which provides a RM5,000 tuition fee waiver per semester. The scholarship is provided to students of all nationalities and background in exchange for high achieving academic results.
Applicant must meet all the below requirements
Eligibility for the MUM High Achiever Award (you must meet the following criteria). Students must have completed the following programs before entering MUM:
- GSE A Levels: 3As
- STPM: 11 points
- Australian Matriculation: Enter ≥ 98
- Canadian Matriculation: ≥ 95%
- Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY): 89%
- International Baccalaureate: 38
- UEC: ≥ 6As
- Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA - Indonesia): ≥ 9.5 or ≥ GPA 3.66
- All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC): 90%
- Indian School Certificate (ISC): 85%
- Senior Secondary School Certificate (Skateboard): 95%
Maintenance of the Scholarship:
- Must maintain the maintenance score which will be stated in your offer letter
- You must enrol a full load of 24 credit point per semester (6 credit points per unit)
- You are not permitted to change courses during the progression of your stay in MUM
- Must complete the course within the set duration of your undergrad program. No extensions will be permitted with the holding of the scholarship
- You are not permitted to take on other financial assistances at any point during your study in MUM
All undergraduate courses except the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Pharmacy.
Students applying under the previously mentioned courses, do apply under the Monash Pharmacy Excellence Scholarship.
An application for Admission to the University will constitute an application for the scholarship. All applications for admission consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered automatically for the scholarship. All successful candidates will be offered the scholarship along with the Offer of Admission to Monash University Malaysia.
