A bachelor degree is the three year degree program undertaken by the students after schools to get a fair knowledge of their chosen discipline. The bachelor degree program is mandatory for students who wish to pursue higher education in their chosen fields. It also provides an edge to the students who wish to be a part of the industry in the desired fields post qualification.

The bachelor degree program is mandatory for students who wish to pursue higher education in their chosen fields. It also provides an edge to the students who wish to be a part of the industry in the desired fields post qualification.</p><h3 class="common-heading">Basics or Overview of a Bachelor Degree Program</h3><p class="common-text">Students prefer bachelor degree programs to gain more knowledge of Industry as well as academics. Generally, a bachelor degree takes three years for completion and it&rsquo;s available in almost any discipline that one wishes to study. Those students who take Mathematics &amp; Science in their PUC or Intermediate can enroll themselves in a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) course. The course can be especially beneficial for students who wish to be a future scientist or interested in pursuing any other scientific career options. Similarly, a bachelor program also provides students an eligibility to participate in different competitive examinations conducted periodically by the government for several state services.</p>&nbsp;<h3 class="common-heading">Branches or Fields-</h3><p class="common-text">A bachelor program can be availed by the students in a number of disciplines, including Arts &amp; Science Engineering/ Technology, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Fine Arts, Journalism, Fashion Designing.<br /><br />Students can chose their respective field of study as per their subjects studied in 10+2 or class 12th or according to their future career choices to be made in the long run.</p><h3 class="common-heading">Eligibility or Minimum Requirements</h3><p class="common-text">In order to enroll under a bachelor level study program, students should be PUC or intermediate qualified from the recognized state boards of Malaysia. .</p>&nbsp;<ul class="eligibility">		<ul>		<li>		<p class="common-text">For B.Sc Course: Intermediate passed with Mathematics or Science Group of subjects, i.e. Chemistry, Physics and Biology</p>		</li>		<li>		<p class="common-text">B.Com Course: Intermediate passed with Commerce, Accountancy and Economics or Business Studies</p>		</li>		<li>		<p class="common-text">BA Course: Intermediate passed with History, Civics, Geography, Fine Arts, Music, Mass Communication or any other subjects of Arts Stream</p>		</li>		<li>		<p class="common-text">BCA: 10+2 or PUC in Computer Studies or Computer Applications</p>		</li>		<li>		<p class="common-text">BBA: Higher Secondary School Certificate passed with Business Administration or any other Commerce group of subjects</p>		</li>		<li>		<p class="common-text">BE/ B.Tech: 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory paper</p>		</li>	</ul></ul><div class="clearfix">&nbsp;</div><br /><br />&nbsp;<h3 class="common-heading">Relevance of a Bachelor Degree Program</h3><p class="common-text">Now-a-days, the bachelor programs are specifically designed for the students to prepare them for the upcoming market and industrial or academic scenarios. As, more technical and scientific fields have emerged in the market that demand more specific skills for their work, hence, those students who have a specialization in the stated discipline prove to be indispensable. A bachelor program also provides the necessary edge to the students in terms of eligibility to apply for various vacancies announced periodically by the government in the job market.</p><h3 class="common-heading">Career Options</h3><p class="common-text">A student with a regular bachelor degree has more than 99% of chances of being short listed under various academic and professional fields on its successful completion. All the school –leavers can enroll in a Foundation /Pre University Program to get a fair understanding of the university education as well as make themselves ready to face the actual challenge associated with the university education.

All the school –leavers can enroll in a Foundation /Pre University Program to get a fair understanding of the university education as well as make themselves ready to face the actual challenge associated with the university education. </p><h6 class="common-heading"><b>Name of Course:</b> PUC/ Foundation</h6><h6 class="common-heading"><b>Duration of Course:</b> 1 year</h6><h6 class="common-heading"><b>Eligibility:</b> Matriculation/ Class 10</h6><h3 class="common-heading">Basics or Overview</h3><p class="common-text">If you are preparing to enter into a university, then taking up a short Pre Degree or Pre University Course could be the best option for you. A Pre Degree Course or PUC is the first choice of all those candidates who are looking out to enter into a degree course after school education.  The PUC degrees are specially very useful for all those candidates who are opting for a 10 year school and move on to the degree courses after their 2 years of PUC completed from any junior college.</p><h3 class="common-heading">Opportunities for Career Growth after PUC</h3><p class="common-text">Those who successfully apply for the PUC after their 10 years of schooling are ready to apply for several streams of degree courses through the government organized common entrance test. The students can enroll themselves in a variety of programs through a Pre University Course such as –Bahelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Management, if they belong to Commerce stream; Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Social Sciences, if they belong to an Arts stream; Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Pharmacy; If they belong to Science stream, then Bachelor of Science and in case of Mathematics/ Science Stream, it will be Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Agriculture or Medicine respectively.</p><h3 class="common-heading">What to choose?</h3><p class="common-text">Students can get a number of colleges in Malaysia offering a Pre University Degree Course or Pre Degree Courses. However, it becomes necessary for all the prospective students to make a right choice in their search for a suitable college. For instance, FTMS College offers Foundation Course or Pre University Course of one year duration in Business Information Technology. The foundation or Pre University Courses are offered by both government funded institutions as well as private colleges. The students who are planning to give at least one year to their Pre Degree Courses should take up the Foundation Courses. On the other hand, a bridging course will be just a semester for you to complete. Some of the international universities offer direct entry based Foundation Programs that can give a direct entry to the students under the second year of the undergraduate or post graduate programs that they wish to enroll themselves into. </p></div>
