There are a number of courses for students to choose from if they wish to pursue a Pre University Program. Almost all the universities offer a Pre Degree or Pre University Course in accordance with the boards operating in the Secondary School Leaving School. The course is usually of two years’ duration and is popularly called as PUC.

<p class="common-text">Accounting &amp; Finance stream is the best for all those students who are planning to make their career in the Accounting Systems, Banking, Management, Auditing and Laws governing these systems. The stream offers a wonderful career building opportunity to all the students in the form of Chartered Accountant, Banker, Financial Analyst, Tax Inspector, Works &amp; Cost Accountant and Finance Officer etc. Those who like to explore this field further can take up courses in Accounting &amp; Finance.</p>

<h3 class="common-heading">Basics &amp; Overview</h3>

<p class="common-text">If you like keeping tracks of income, expenditure, making budgets and financial record of transactions etc., then Accounting is definitely one such stream that should be explored as a career option. Accounting is the process of making and balancing accounts statements for any financial concern. The stream of Finance is one of the closely associated one with the Accounting Field. The students in Malaysia often opt for this stream if they wish to engage in the above stated sub fields.</p>

<h3 class="common-heading">Eligibility Requirements</h3>

<p class="common-text">The minimum eligibility required for taking up an accounting course is graduation or intermediate with the Commerce group of subjects such as &ndash;Accounts, Economics, Business Studies, etc.</p>

<p class="common-text">There are several courses available in the Accounting &amp; Finance stream. Students can take a 3 year degree in Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Administration from any reputed university or colleges in Malaysia. There are a lot of master level degree courses or foundation or diploma programs available for students who wish to make a career in this field.</p>

<h3 class="common-heading">Career Information</h3>

<p class="common-text">An Accountant or Auditor is responsible for the proper creation, maintenance and summarizing of Account Statements of any commercial or financial or industrial undertaking. An accountant is required by almost any financial concern whether big or small for undertaking all the tasks associated with the preparation and maintenance of the Accounting Statement and Balance Sheets. The task of an auditor is similarly very important as it ensures the compliance of all the necessary rules framed for the fair and transparent maintenance of accounting statements, thereby avoiding any kind of malpractices in its presentation and practice of unfair trade tactics. A finance officer on the other hand, looks after the complete financial transactions of any business organization or commercial undertaking.</p>

All the school –leavers can enroll in a Foundation /Pre University Program to get a fair understanding of the university education as well as make themselves ready to face the actual challenge associated with the university education.

All the school –leavers can enroll in a Foundation /Pre University Program to get a fair understanding of the university education as well as make themselves ready to face the actual challenge associated with the university education. </p><h6 class="common-heading"><b>Name of Course:</b> PUC/ Foundation</h6><h6 class="common-heading"><b>Duration of Course:</b> 1 year</h6><h6 class="common-heading"><b>Eligibility:</b> Matriculation/ Class 10</h6><h3 class="common-heading">Basics or Overview</h3><p class="common-text">If you are preparing to enter into a university, then taking up a short Pre Degree or Pre University Course could be the best option for you. A Pre Degree Course or PUC is the first choice of all those candidates who are looking out to enter into a degree course after school education.  The PUC degrees are specially very useful for all those candidates who are opting for a 10 year school and move on to the degree courses after their 2 years of PUC completed from any junior college.</p><h3 class="common-heading">Opportunities for Career Growth after PUC</h3><p class="common-text">Those who successfully apply for the PUC after their 10 years of schooling are ready to apply for several streams of degree courses through the government organized common entrance test. The students can enroll themselves in a variety of programs through a Pre University Course such as –Bahelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Management, if they belong to Commerce stream; Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Social Sciences, if they belong to an Arts stream; Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Pharmacy; If they belong to Science stream, then Bachelor of Science and in case of Mathematics/ Science Stream, it will be Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Agriculture or Medicine respectively.</p><h3 class="common-heading">What to choose?</h3><p class="common-text">Students can get a number of colleges in Malaysia offering a Pre University Degree Course or Pre Degree Courses. However, it becomes necessary for all the prospective students to make a right choice in their search for a suitable college. For instance, FTMS College offers Foundation Course or Pre University Course of one year duration in Business Information Technology. The foundation or Pre University Courses are offered by both government funded institutions as well as private colleges. The students who are planning to give at least one year to their Pre Degree Courses should take up the Foundation Courses. On the other hand, a bridging course will be just a semester for you to complete. Some of the international universities offer direct entry based Foundation Programs that can give a direct entry to the students under the second year of the undergraduate or post graduate programs that they wish to enroll themselves into. </p></div>
