Overview
Students who need financial assistance for their overseas studies (bachelors) can now apply for this loan scheme. Countries supported include Ireland and the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand.
Criteria
- Malaysian citizen
- Under 25 years of age on 1 January in the year of application
- Have not obtained first degree
- Mother/father/siblings/student is not a borrower/guarantor to any loan scheme or government scholarship and not blacklisted in any government loan scheme
- Only 1 member of the family is entitled to get the loan. Application of other members of the family will be considered once the borrower has paid back the loan for at least 6 months
- For twinning programme, loans are provided only for the period of study outside the country.
