Overview

Professionals from eligible Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries and Timor-Leste can apply for a scholarship to take a short professional training course in the following themes and sectors:

Good Governance

- Public sector leadership

Climate Change and Resilience

- Renewable energy
- Geothermal energy
- Agriculture

These short courses aim to share New Zealand’s expertise in renewable energy, geothermal energy, agriculture and public sector management with professionals in developing countries. Reputable education institutions in New Zealand deliver these short training courses to successful scholars. Courses are two to four weeks long.

Criteria

1. Must not exceed 39 years of age by 1st October 2020

2. Must fulfill the requirements as set by the sponsors of the Commonwealth New Zealand Scholarship. You can check the requirements here http://www.nzscholarships.govt.nz/

How to apply for JPA Sponsorship (Commonwealth New Zealand Scholarship)

Must apply online through http://esilav2.jpa.gov.my/
To candidates who are not in the government sector (either private, students, or unemployed), two (2) copies of the application form must be submitted - one original copy and one photocopy - latest by 31st March 2020 to the following address:
