Overview

Applications are invited from open for candidates who are currently studying at the First Degree level. Students will be sponsored at the undergraduate level at Public Universities, Premier Polytechnics, and Government Linked Universities (GLU) which have been designated by the Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) on a Variable Loan (PBU) basis.

Criteria

General Terms

Malaysian;
Have good health;
The parent is not blacklisted by the PSD or is under legal action by the PSD;
Not receiving financial assistance/sponsorship from any party at the same level of study
Possess a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM); and
Age not exceeding 22 years in the year of application (23 years for transition students).

Special Criteria

Has started his studies at the First Degree level before the closing date of the advertisement and meets the following academic requirements:
Fields OTHER THAN Medicine and Dentistry:
Students who have started their studies and obtained a current CGPA of at least 3.00 OR
Students who have started their studies and obtained a current CGPA of at least 3.00 OR
Students who have started their studies but have not completed at least one semester at the First Degree level must be eligible to obtain at least a CGPA of 3.30 at the Diploma level from a listed UA / Polytechnic / IPTS (GLU) / Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) OR
Obtained at least Jayyid Jiddan results in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) and took at least four subjects AND
Has the remaining 18 months of study excluding the latest / current semester.

Field of Medicine and Dentistry:

Obtained a 'Pass' result for the latest semester of study in medicine and dentistry
Has the remaining 24 months of study nincludeding the latest / current semester

Preferred Discipline

All fields are sponsored under the Degree Program in the Country (PIDN) Year 2022 EXCEPT the following fields:

Education field
Aviation-related fields that require students to obtain an aviation license
Programs in the form of public university/ PTS franchises
Double degree / double degree / program
cooperation with other institutions except those permitted (UMP-HsKA, UMP-BJTU or UTM-MJIIT);
Nursing, semi -medical and pre-service programs
Professional certificate related programs such as ACCA
Part-time/distance/online study program/study without tuition fee subsidy.

How to apply for JPA PIDN Scholarship

Applications are open online at http://esilav2.jpa.gov.my from 14 February 2022 (4.30 pm) to 27 February 2022 (11.59 pm).

Applications received after that date will not be considered.

Candidates are allowed to register, update/amend application information before the application closing date. Only the most recent amendments are taken into account for data storage purposes. Candidates must ensure that the application process is complete by printing the Slip

Confirmation of the PIDN 2022 Program Sponsorship Application as proof of the application has been made.
