Overview

The Great Eastern Supremacy Scholarship Award is one of the leading programmes in the insurance industry. Every year since 1998, we have been the platform where almost a hundred deserving, talented, young Malaysians can pursue their dreams.

To date, Great Eastern Life has awarded over RM12 million to 180 recipients who dared to dream, to be different, and took the lead in realising those dreams.

Here, we do not just provide great career opportunities for people; we also nurture, care and develop them from young – even before they begin their journey towards success.

Criteria

Citizenship: Malaysian
Age: Below 22 years old
Attending or obtained confirmed/conditional entry into public universities for approved courses of study
Certificate:
- Minimum 3.5 CGPA or its equivalent at pre-university level (STPM / Foundation / Matriculation) or 2As and 1B for A-Levels / Foundation (Scholarship offer is for those pursuing first degree only)
An active member of sports and extracurricular activities
Awardees must not be bonded to or holding any other scholars
Household with monthly income of RM7,000* and below (B40 and M40: M1 & 2)
Contract/Bond Period Upon Graduation: All candidates will be required to avail themselves for employment at Great Eastern. However, if for any reason Great Eastern decides this is not needed or is unable to employ the candidate, it will duly release him or her from this requirement.

How to apply for Great Eastern Supremacy Scholarship Award

1. Read the instructions carefully. Incomplete application forms and applications that do not comply with the
  requirements can result in an unsuccessful application.
2. All applications are to be sent via email to [email protected] with the subject "Supremacy Scholarship Awards Application - YOUR FULL NAME (IC Number)” (as per your IC). e.g. Supremacy Scholarship Award Application – ALI BIN ABU (980101-99-0123)
3. To complete this form, please download it, fill it up (you can type on the PDF document), save it, and send it to us to the email address stated above. Please complete Section 9 – Declaration by printing the page out and signing at the appropriate column. Upon signing you would need to send the scanned copy of Section 9 to the email address stated above together with the application form.
4. Applications need to be completed in English.
5. All fields are compulsory and MUST be filled up. For fields that do not apply to you, please put as N/A (not applicable).
6. Applicants MUST ONLY attach these items in their application: (all documents can be in PDF, DOC, GIF or JPEG formats)
  - Recent passport sized photo
  - Scanned certified true copy of Identification card (front & back)
  - Scanned certified true copies of academic certificates & transcripts (STPM / UEC / A-Levels / SAM / CPU / Matriculation / Diploma / etc.)
  - Please note: Applicants are required to bring original document of the above and other relevant documents if they are further shortlisted.
7. All documents that are not in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin, MUST be translated and certified before submission to us.
8. All applications MUST reach us by 15 July 2022.
9. ONLY successful applicants will be notified via email and / or telephone.
