Overview

Financial Assistance to students who follow a program at a Community College to continue their studies at the certificate level. The program aims to help students from low-income families further their studies at a semi-professional level that will be able to improve their life skills and help improve their socio-economic status and that of their families.

Applicants must meet all of the requirements below

    

  • The applicant must be a Malaysian citizen; 
  • BKPKK is given only to Community College students at the long-term certificate level, that is, those who study for at least 4 semesters (certificate level); 
  • Students who are eligible for BKPKK are students who have parents/legal guardians who have a gross monthly income of RM3,000.00 and below without being subject to the total household dependents; 
  • Sign 2 (two) copies of the agreement (without guarantor); 
  • Fill in the Family Monthly Income Statement Form; and 
  • Students are not allowed to have other sponsors during the program period.
  • Students cannot receive other sponsorships/scholarships if they have received Community College Student Financial Aid under the MOE.
  • Students who are eligible to receive this financial aid for one year/two semesters of study must obtain a minimum CGPA of 2.0 to be eligible to receive financial aid in the second semester. If a student does not achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.0 in the first semester, then financial aid funding will be terminated immediately to the student. 

All certificate and diploma courses offered by Community Colleges

Students will receive Community College Student Financial Aid for only two (2) semesters. The period of one semester for Community College is for six (6) months and students are eligible for RM300/month or RM1, 800.00 for one semester.

How to apply for Community College Student Financial Assistance (BKPKK)

New students or existing qualified Community College students can submit applications through their respective Community College centers. Applications are open throughout the year
