The Cagamas Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity for high-achieving, financially deserving Malaysian students pursuing their first undergraduate degree in selected fields. It covers tuition fees, accommodation, a monthly allowance, and a one-off laptop grant, all up to RM20,000 per year. What sets it apart is that there’s no bond or repayment required.
Scholars also benefit from mentorship by senior management, internship placements at Cagamas, and access to a structured support system. It’s open to Malaysians aged 25 and below from households earning RM4,000/month or less, studying at approved public or private universities in fields like Accounting, Economics, Law, Finance, Computer Science, and more.

Preferred Discipline
The Cagamas Undergraduate Scholarship does not have a single "preferred" discipline in terms of award priority; all listed fields are treated equally. However, these are the eligible areas of study, meaning your course of study must be in one of these:
Accounting
Banking / Islamic Banking
Business Administration
Finance / Islamic Finance
Financial Banking & Management
Economics / International Financial Economics
Statistics
Mathematics
Actuarial Science
Law / Shariah Law
Computer Science / Information Technology
Human Resource
Risk Management
Technology-based fields related to the financial industry

Successful applicants will receive up to RM20,000 per year, which covers:
Tuition and registration fees
Hostel accommodation
Monthly living allowance of RM1,000
One-off laptop grant
There is no bond or repayment required, and scholars will also be given priority for internships and mentorship opportunities with Cagamas.
