Overview

Yayasan Jasa Ann Joo (“Foundation”) was established in April 2018 to contribute to the community regardless of race, status and religion by sponsoring students intending to pursue higher education in Technical/Engineering and accounting/finance studies from local TVET institutes/universities. The Foundation helps underprivileged people in the community to achieve an improved quality of life and is also involved in efforts to protect and preserve the environment.

Criteria

Applicant must meet all the below requirements

  • Deserving Malaysian citizen not exceeding 23 years of age at the time of application.
  • Currently pursuing full-time studies in accounting/engineering degrees in their second (2nd) year onwards.
  • Consistently strong academic achievements with minimum CGPA of 3.0 for previous semesters in the Degree course or minimum average of 60% for their first 6 papers of ACCA at the time of application.
  • Proficient in English and possess strong communication skills, positive traits & leadership skills.
  • Active participation in extra-curricular or sports activities.
  • Must not be presently holding other scholarship/loans or be bonded to/or in receipt of financial aid/awards from any other corporation/institution/foundation or governmental body.
Preferred Discipline

Pursuing full-time studies in accounting/engineering degrees in their second (2nd) year onwards.

  • Stage 1: Applicants are required to download and complete the application form with submission of relevant documents to [email protected] before application closing date.
  • Stage 2: All submitted application will be reviewed by the Group Human Resources (GHR) to ensure all eligibility criterion are met.
  • Stage 3: Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by a panel of interviewers from the Group Human Resources (GHR) and the Head of Business Unit(s).
  • Stage 4: Shortlisted applicants from Stage 3 will then undergo a presentation in any desired format and Q&A session with the Scholarship Committee.
