To produce quality graduates who are knowledgeable and competent in the field of maritime specialized in offshore structure. This program gives understanding about design and platform structuring. Students will be exposed with basic principles in planning and analyzing offshore structure and also focused in problem solving skills as a preparation to work in offshore.
Pass SPM/SPMV with 3 credits inclusive of Mathematics and 1 subject sciences/ technical/ Vocational and obtain pass in English, or School Requirement: 1 subject science is Physics, should be credit and Additional Maths should pass
Passed Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 3 subjects inclusive of Mathematics and 1 subject sciences/ technical/ Vocational and obtained pass in English, or School Requirement: 1 subject science is Physics, should be a B
Passed O’Level with Grade C in 3 subjects inclusive of Mathematics and 1 subject sciences/ technical/ Vocational and obtained pass in English, or School Requirement: 1 subject science is Physics, should be a C
Passed Malaysian Skill Certificate Level 3 in related fields and;
1 credit in SPM/SPMV
Further study in diploma in the same field;
Posses 1 year of working experience or at least join bridging programme for 1 semester as reinforcement program for students from skills/ technical to academic sector OR;
Passed Community College Certificate Level 3 MQF in related fields; and
1 credit in SPM/SPMV;
Posses 1 year of working experience or at least programme for 1 semester as reinforcement program for students from join bridging skills/ technical to academic sector
Passed Vocational and Technical/Skills Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in related field or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; and posses 1 year of working experience or at least programme for 1 semester as reinforcement program; or
Passed Marine Engineering Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in related field from IKM/IKBN/Polytechnic with CGPA 2.5
Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in 1 subject and passed Mathematics, English and 1 subject sciences/ technical/ Vocational in SPM level (equivalent); or School Requirement: 1 subject science is Physics
Passed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with Maqbool Rank passed Mathematics, English and 1 subject sciences/ technical/ Vocational in SPM level (equivalent); or School Requirement: 1 subject science is Physics Passed STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in 1 subject and pass Mathematic, English and Physic in SPM; or
Other qualifications recognized by Malaysian Government;or
APEL with 3 years of working experience in offshore engineering fields. Foreign Students:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score 500 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score 5.0 or equivalent.
