The Bachelor of Accountancy programme is a full-time four year degree based on all the professional and legal requirements of this profession. Students will learn all the necessary skills to develop into competent accountants such as business operations, taxation, auditing and business environment. Before graduation, students will be able to participate of a professional attachment programme.
This degree programme also offers elective modules that will open up student’s understandings of a variety of subjects such as cross-cultural communications, Asian Financial Institutions, and Entrepreneurship and Small Business.
Grade C+ (GPA 2.33) in 2 subjects; credit in Maths subject at SPM level.
Grade C in 2 subjects; credit in Maths subject in O-Level or its equivalent.
5 Bs; credit in Maths subject at SPM/UEC level.
Foundation / Matriculation
Min. CGPA 2.50 (with a credit in Maths subject at SPM level).
Diploma / Advanced Diploma
Min. CGPA 2.50; in related field.
English Language Requirements
Malaysian 1119 syllabus (UCLES) Grade C; or Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 4; or Completed RUI ELP programme.
Complete secondary school in English language; or
Pass International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with minimum level of Band 6 or equivalent; or
Successfully complete English programme at RUI as approved by the Academic Board.
