The Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering is a four-year programme envisioned to produce competent industry-ready Engineers to cater to the rapidly growing Electronics industry, the strongest sector in Malaysia. The curriculum is designed to nurture the future Engineers and Entrepreneurs of tomorrow by providing strong technical knowledge and managerial skills which are supplemented with substantial hands-on experience using the state-of-the-art Graphical System Design tools used by the Electronics Industries all over the Globe. The Industrial Training in the pre-final year of study acquaints the students with the real-world work culture and environment in the industries while also preparing them to assess their employment prospects. The Project work in the final year enables the students to be capable of conducting independent research. Furthermore, the students will also have an option to acquire professional certifications of MNCs which are a value addition to their career.
Malaysian University English Test - Band 2 Equivalent IELTS Score 5.0 TOEFL Score 500 Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) - Pass with a minimum grade C /CGPA 2.00 Mathematics and Physics General Certificate of Education Advanced (“A”) levels - Minimum Pass in Mathematics and Physics Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) - Pass with a minimum grade B in 5 subjects, including Mathematics and Physics Matriculation/Foundation in Science - Pass in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 Diploma - Pass Diploma in related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 Other Qualifications - Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia
General Certificate of Education: Pass with a minimum grade C in 3 subjects, including Mathematics and Physics with CGPA of 2.5
