a) Entry Requirements & Qualifications

Pre-university	SPM, ideally with high grades in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths	Pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine.
Degree	Completion of Pre-University/Foundation in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics with minimum CGPA 3.0	Apply to the Ministry of Health (MOH) for a housemanship position at public hospitals. Complete housemanship for 2 years in Malaysia to gain supervised clinical experience in various specialties, such as internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics and obstetrics.
Post-graduate	Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MBBS or Equivalent), Full Registration with the Medical Council, Completion of Housemanship Relevant Work Experience (1-3 years). A strong academic record in your undergraduate studies. Recommendation letters from senior consultants or supervisors. Pass the Entrance Test for Postgraduate Studies in Medicine (ETPM) (for some institutions only)	Become a specialist in fields like surgery, paediatrics, internal medicine or anaesthesiology.
