COURSE OVERVIEW

The Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) is designed to cater to the needs of those seeking a career as junior executives in HRM, in both business and non-business organisations. In order to qualify for the diploma, a minimum of 90 credit hours of approved courses must be completed.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Detailed entry requirements

Normal Entry

  • SPM (pass in Bahasa Melayu and History) or equivalent with minimum 3 credits; or
  • Pass STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject; or
  • Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Maqbul; or
  • Pass SKM Level 3 in related field; AND
    • SPM (pass in Bahasa Melayu and History) with minimum a credit in 1 subject; AND
    • Through consolidation programs (if necessary) or
  • Pass certificate (MQF Level 3) or equivalent; or
  • Pass UEC with minimum Grade B in 3 subjects; or
  • Pass O-Level with minimum Grade C in 3 subjects; or
  • Pass Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in related field; AND
    • SPM (pass in Bahasa Melayu and History)  with minimum credit in 1 subject; AND
    • Through consolidation programs (if necessary) or
  • Other recognised equivalent qualifications.
  • English language competency requirements for international students: Minimum IELTS 5.0 or equivalent

APEL Entry

  • Malaysian; and
  • Candidate must be 20 years old and above in the year of the application being made; and
  • Have previous working experience/learning relevant to the field applied; and
  • Pass APEL Assessment for a Diploma (conducted by OUM).
