COURSE OVERVIEW

The affordability of air travel has led to a significant growth in the air carrier industry, creating a huge demand for aircraft maintenance staff. Suitably qualified personnel, especially those allowed to certify aircraft’s airworthiness, command high salaries and are highly sought after.

This programme is your passport to certify aircraft’s airworthiness as the diploma incorporates the European Aviation Safety Agency* (EASA) syllabus, preparing you for the EASA Part 66 Category B1-1 license examinations. You sit for the EASA license examination at the same time you pursue your diploma course at Nilai U, which is the first step in gaining a full EASA licence.

As part of the course, you will undergo guaranteed industrial attachment with our aviation partners.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Detailed entry requirements

SPM/ O-Level: Pass with 3 credits/3Cs including Mathematics and one(1) Science/Technical/Vocational subject AND pass in English

UEC: Pass with 3Bs including Mathematics and one(1) Science/Technical/Vocational subject AND pass in English

STPM/ A-Level: Pass with GradeC (NGMP 2.0)in one(1) subject and pass Mathematics, English and one(1) Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject at SPM level

SKM (Level 3) in related field: Pass SPM with 1 credit AND minimum 1 year working experience in related field or study 1 semester bridging course

SKK (Level 3) in related field: Pass SPM with 1 credit AND minimum 1 year working experience in related field or study 1 semester bridging course

Sijil Teknikal / Vokasional (Level 3 KKM) in related field: Pass with minimum PNGK 2.0 AND minimum 1 year working experience in related field or study 1 semester bridging course

Certificate in Engineering/ Engineering Technology (Level 3 KKM): Pass with minimum CGPA 2.0 English Requirements:

GCSE/ IGCSE: Grade B

IELTS: Band 5.0

TOEFL Paper based: 500 / Internet based: 68 / Computer based: 190 For other quali?cations, please consult our programme counsellors.
