Information system is a foundation for conducting business today. In order to achieve strategic business goals, the extensive use of information technology is necessary.This dicipline integrates Information Technology solutions and business processes to meet the information needs of businesses and other enterprises. It views technology as an instrument for generating, processing and distributing information. Informations Systems programmes prepare graduates to work with business support applications such as payroll, accounts, receivables and inventory management.Information Systems Specialists are expected to become familiar with computer applications related to these traditional business areas, especially database-management systems and spreadsheets and other off-the-shelf software products.
STPM or equivalent: Pass with Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in 2 subjects and credit in Mathematics at SPM level
A-Level: Pass with 2 principal passes and pass O-Level with Grade C in Mathematics
UEC: Pass with 5Bs including Add Maths
Foundation / Matriculation / Asasi: Pass with minimum CGPA 2.0 and credit / Grade C in Mathematics at SPM / O-Level
Diploma (Level 4 KKM) in related field: Pass with minimum CGPA 2.5 and credit /Grade C in Mathematics at SPM / O-Level
SAM: Pass with minimum 70% in 5 subjects and Grade B in Mathematics AND credit / Grade C in Mathematics at SPM / O-Level
AUSMAT / HSC: Pass with minimum 50% in 5 subjects including Mathematics AND credit/Grade C in Mathematics at SPM / O-Level
