Software Engineering is the disipline of developing and maintaining software systems that behave reliably and efficiently, affordable and built to customers' specifications. It will always be a major tool to support the software development of all organizations regardless of the nature of business. Software Engineers are expected to develop systematic models and reliable techniques for producing high-quality software on time and within a budget.This programme aims to provide students with a solid foundation concept and the underlying principles of Software Engineering. It contains significantly more software related courses and places a greater emphasis on an understanding and experience of the software process. The programme equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyse, design, develop, testing and implement, evaluate, maintain and document a large scale software system.
STPM or equivalent: Pass with Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in 2 subjects and credit in Add Mathematics at SPM level
A-Level: Pass with 2 principal passes and pass O-Level with Grade C in Add Mathematics
UEC: Pass with 5Bs including Add Maths
Foundation / Matriculation / Asasi: Pass with minimum CGPA 2.0 and credit / Grade C in Mathematics at SPM / O-Level
Diploma (Level 4 KKM) in related field: Pass with minimum CGPA 2.5 and credit /Grade C in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level
SAM: Pass with minimum 70% in 5 subjects and Grade B in Mathematics AND credit / Grade C in Add Mathematics at SPM/ O-Level
AUSMAT / HSC: Pass with minimum 50% in 5 subjects including Mathematics AND credit/Grade C in Add Mathematics at SPM / O-Level
CPU / CIMP: Pass with minimum 70% in 6 subjects including Mathematics AND credit/Grade C in Add Mathematics at SPM / O Level
