This programme is currently the only humanities foundation course in Malaysia that is approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and taught in Mandarin. It is a foundation course for students with SPM or equivalent qualifications for admission and to a bachelor’s degree. Over the duration of one year, the course covers the core subjects of the humanities and social sciences to prepare students to pursue related fields of study and cultivate their ability in critical thinking, analysis, reading, writing and communication.After the completion of the programme, students may study for the Bachelor in Chinese Language, Bachelor in Guidance and Counseling Psychology, or Bachelor in Media Studies in the University College.
