Interior design deals with space, not merely decoration. More than furniture layouts and pretty wallpapers, this programme looks into the essence and spirit of how people dwell. The 2.5-year Diploma in Interior Design course is a rigorous programme guiding students through four main components - design competency, technical know-how, project management skills, and design values. We challenge students on the issues of tropical architecture and, in so doing, question the boundaries of conventional interior design. The design studio acts as the anchor module each semester to which learning takes place. Students also experience a range of classes from furniture design and fabrication to building construction.
